Saw a few reviews about the metallic color being weak, however, I feel watercolor should be softer and more of a wash than acrylic....soooo....yeah. I love the colors, each one has been well used, the only color I found myself not using often was the black, which is normal for my style. The paper in the booklet is quality watercolor paper. The brush is great, mine didn't leak. The bonus of the black acrylic marker pen was excellent. Downside....it's a travel kit, small and the pans of paint will go quick with daily use. Could be a better fleshy color, as the peachy sand color is the only color close to Caucasian....but that kind of whatever. Also, the metallic paints will absorb an insane amount of water if you aren't careful, and then become complete mush. Let it dry out for a few days and it solidifies again. Bought it for use while traveling....as it should be Lol "

Wonderful Little Kit
I originally bought this watercolor set for myself but I loved it so much I bought it again as a gift for a relative. It's got everything you need. It's super compact and portable and makes it so easy to paint wherever you happen to be. The colors are lovely too. I think it's really great value for what you get.

Surprising!
Bought this watercolor set for my youngest daughter for her birthday. We watched reviews over many affordable brands for her to learn with. Her other set is cheap, stinks to high heaven and has an attitude problem. Thought we would give this set a try. She enjoyed the unboxing and loved the swatch cards inside. She wasn’t sure about the landscape paper as we don’t buy that size. It is now her favorite size paper. She likes the water brush pen with the buttons. Ours don’t have that feature and she loves it. Though she is 11, her only complaint was that the swatch card that she paints doesn’t line up perfectly with the paints in the tray. Paint color is in order but not all on the same rows. She’s picky like that. She LOVES the paints! Completely changed her mind about watercolors. Before she hated watercolor and would stick to her Himi gouache or digital art. She went through the paper that came with the paint set and more sheets of her own in just days!! She paints multiple watercolor pieces a day. I haven’t tried them myself but I can see how well they perform watching her and the end results. She has many favorite colors in the set. If you are new to watercolor, this is an excellent set to start out with that won’t break the bank. I’d say that even if you are not new to watercolor, you’d enjoy this cute little set. Even though I prefer higher end art supplies, I am tempted to get the pink set for myself.

Awesome for the price
This is a nice affordable starting kit for beginners or just a nice gift the box itself is really nice and everything described is the description is true. The colors are really vibrant and the brushes provided are pretty good. Really love the water brush to store liquid too so I can paint wherever I want without needing a cup of water. Love the tiny mixing trays and the little color labeling mat which I still use as a cover for the watercolors though it’s not like they drip anywhere anyways, it dries pretty quickly. I would a 100% recommend this for anyone trying to get into water coloring also they provide like 8 pieces of water color paper which is better than the water color book I bought. I really wished they sold their paper but unfortunately I couldn’t find that they did.

Colors are very vivid
The paint is great so far, I'll be honest I'm a beginner. However, after having a chance to play with them some I find I like these much better that the pens. The only issue I had was when I first got the kit, the tin was a bit banged up, and the 2 parts didn't line up quite right. It didn't take much to fix.

Fun is for everyone and this is totally worth it
I would not say that I am any type of prolific artist, but because art has so much to do with my mental health. I feel like this has made watercolors so accessible for me. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful, and the sheer number of shades that are available in this cat has allowed me to experiment with colors and saturations that I’ve never played with before. It comes with a really nice brush and I really like the sponge and the pan it has that has the capacity to hold water inside it! This paintbrush with water inside is so fun to play with and I feel like it’s accessible for anyone who wants to play with watercolor for the first time or someone who is deep into the trenches of theory and wants to experiment with a brush that you don’t really even have to dip in water. I love it and I think you or your loved ones would love it too because this is just made painting so much more fun and it’s easy to carry around, I can take this to the park or to school or anywhere and it’s so easy to pack up and it has a great little color scratching paper that goes with it that fits inside the tin. I love how they have set up this pallet.
